Vaccinations

The nursing issue that I have chosen to study would be the social and economical effects of vaccinations, and how they are perceived by the public. Vaccinations have faced scrutinization since the first allegations of it causing damage. My stand on inoculations is based on actuality. Because of the way vaccines are presented, and the amount of varying random negative effects it causes, there are many who are less inclined to use them. Vaccines are supposed to support public health, and are said to be a contributor to the abolition of disease epidemic. This essay will focus on how vaccinations are perceived by the public, how they are promoted and who is responsible for delivering them. To myself, vaccination issues are a major point of interest. There have been instances in the past of dishonest behavior from government officials, because this is directly in relation to our overall health and the spread of disease. I am interested in finding the underlying causes for the rhetoric.
Vaccinations are injections that are given for free. You can obtain your vaccinations at a hospital, walk-in clinic, or from your family doctor. Vaccinations are usually an injection of a clear liquid that is attached to the prevention and or maintenance of a specific disease. Vaccinations can be given annually, semi-annually, or more frequently based on your condition and or specific area of designation. There are some mild health effects that are attached to vaccinations such as mild fevers, headaches, and or a sore injection spot. But the main issue is not with the temporary effects that vaccination halves, but the long-term effects, or the ones that you cannot detect immediately. The word vaccination is the term given to receiving a vaccine. Immunization is a result of being vaccinated. You can also have your blood tested for immunization after being vaccinated, at a doctor or medical professionals office.
Vaccinations have been known to stop the spread of lethal diseases, and have been delegated to the general public for generations. But based on recent reports , there have been many instances that have proven they may not be the safest method of protecting our youth. (Bonhoeffer, 2004) Regardless of whether or not a disease has been abolished, or if it affects your daily life, is a big part of why people get vaccinations to begin with. But because vaccinations are based on the element of fear, that same notion also allows capitalist idealism to flourish.
Is capitalist idealism intertwined into the vaccination process? Or are vaccinations simply a clean, healthy and new age way of protecting our health? This document will take a look at the in-and-outs of the preceding discussions attached to vaccinations, and draw a comparison. The simple fact is that it is very hard for the common man to understand diseases that have been abolished decades beforehand. To accept a free injection that has been orchestrated and provided by the acting government, too many members of the public seems like a form of contrition. My physical logical assumptions in relation to the topic would simply be by viewing the process as a whole. Because the item is given away for free, against the masses, and has so many different underlined random effects attached to it, there is really no question of whether or not it is good or bad. The simple fact remains that whether or not vaccination started positively, because of the Simplicity involved and the amount of fear attached, there is too much room for underhanded activities to take place.
Vaccines and Vaccinations
Prior to 2019, vaccinations were an optional method of preventing disease in developing youth and children. But an initiative in Nova Scotia that is now being put in place, is forcing all children attending specific schools in the area to be vaccinated from diseases. This means inoculations from trained professionals that are supposed to be adherent with the standards of health and safety. But based on the educational levels in general income the majority of those who are distributing the vaccines, opens doors for miscommunication.
The simple fact is, when you draw the line between treating a child like an adult, you get its supposed experimental assets. Another startling fact is that based on the amount of time placed behind your inoculations and the bolstering of any negative effects that are related, you would not be able to tangibly relate the causes to that instance. This means you are limited for any legal recourse, or self-protection.
The requirement for proof of vaccinations to acquire certain jobs, or be allowed into educational facilities, quite frankly does not draw any form of tangible sense in my own thoughts. One reason is because if the majority of the public is vaccinated, then if one person wasn't vaccinated, there is a very small chance of them affecting the rest of society. This can be seen by applications to retirement hospitals, and other forms of government institutions. This is also delegated towards prisons with the threat of an internal vaccination that requires radiation exposure. This does not need to be said, if an institution is threatening you with radiation exposure as opposed to an injection, what type of initiative are they implementing? (Habel, 2009)
The significance of this issue is based on the educational levels of those administering vaccines, how they are kept, where the materials are coming from and how they are being administered. It can go so far as to see how the materials are stored, and in fact if being questioned in some instances may be met with some form of negative response. (E.MacDonald, 2014)
My first assumption as an adult receiving a vaccine that has been pushed upon myself from an outside Source, would be a misunderstanding of how and in fact benefits me. Based on what others have told me simply isn't enough for accepting an injection.
Doctor Yoni Freedoff, compares the chemical composition in vegetables, to the chemical composition in vaccines. This essentially means that because a vegetable consists of multiple ingredients a layman may not necessarily understand, that somehow a carrot can be drawn in comparison to a chemical cocktail created in a laboratory. Listening to this in my own opinion sounds ludicrous, but again the majority of the public is still bent on injecting themselves with these mystery substances and reaping the so-called benefits.
Relation to HPV
There is a well-known medical link between HPV infections and cancer. But there's also many links between two major forms of cancers that have been integrated into our daily life. One main influence would be EMF and electromagnetic frequencies which are prominent in our electronic devices. The majority of us will not receive an HPV infection, simply from basic health and safety practices, and HPV vaccinations do not protect against the majority of HPV and venereal diseases. Simply put, you cannot compare HPV infections with inoculations and cancer, and if you could do so then simply abolishing HPV infections as opposed to protection would make more sense. HPV is essentially a virus transferred through skin on skin contact, but is mostly transferred through sexual intercourse or contact with sexual fluids. (Lee, 2018)
“The HPV vaccine is being marketed as a vaccine to prevent cervical cancer. Comprehensive information on the vaccine, HPV, and cervical cancer continues to be missing from media coverage. Public health educators should monitor online media in an effort to respond to inaccurate information. Barriers to vaccine cost and funding mechanisms need to be addressed more effectively by states. Knowledge of particular media messages could provide a starting point for tackling opposition and uptake issues for future sexually transmitted infection (STI) vaccines.”
As a nurse, I will be working with many vulnerable sectors of the public. I do understand that protecting the majority is very important, but when it comes down to vaccines and inoculations, are these measures actually benefiting our patients, or causing more long-term negative effects?
Outside influences affect our overall opinion of our perceptions. It may be difficult for some of us to understand the concept of “taking things with a grain of salt”, and the systems utilizes these measures understand this.
Whether or not vaccines are necessary or dangerous, there is always room for mistakes and complications. Perhaps a better understanding of how to manage our own health will help protect the public from itself so to speak. But because there is less money that is attached to self maintenance or natural methods, there is also little support for those who are interested in taking these steps. Another startling fact attached to vaccinations and the immunization process, is the ostracisation of specific youth whose parents have chosen not to take that step. Because others have been brainwashed into believing what they are told, or simply have made their own personal choices, they might choose to isolate members of the public who have not made the same decisions as themselves. This again opens more doors for unsustainable social activities between our peers which is never good to begin with.
