One of the most popular attractions to the Niagara Falls region is that of the local casinos, and gaming venues that are available. What the bright lights, cheap food subpar music and promotions are failing to mention are the large amount of bodies that have been turning up at the bottom of Niagara Falls on an almost monthly basis. Every single one of the identified individuals have been reported to the police as committing suicide, and the majority of the suicides are because that they recently spent all of their finances at the local casino. In some cases this might be someone who has a gambling issue, in other cases they may simply have went too far, too fast but the amount of harrowing phone calls that are sent back from pay phones to loved ones prior to taking the plunge, is an astounding number that does not get reported for obvious marketing purposes. With over 5,000 bodies being recovered between the year 1850 to 2011, Niagara Falls, Ontario has approximately 40 bodies wash up on an annual basis.
After interviewing many of the citizens who live in the Niagara falls, Ontario region, the majority of them have experienced the loss of a friend or family member who have made the sad choice to take their own life because they have lost it all sort of say at the Niagara Falls Ontario casino. There are many different gambling options, and gambling responsibly seems to be one of their main marketing initiatives, but if someone is already suffering from other types of psychological issues, then they may be in a position to lose more than they are bargaining for. This includes their life.
The fact that the majority of this information fails to be reported on local news networks is coherent with the massive amount of profit that is being generated from the casino, and the Clifton Hills district itself.
